The President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) is designed to provide essential and current information to incoming club presidents in order to prepare them to have an effective and successful year. Presidents-elect will have the opportunity to hear addresses by top Rotary leaders and motivational speakers, attend small group discussion sessions on various topics lead by knowledgeable and experienced discussion leaders, and network and exchange ideas with presidents-elect from six Rotary districts.

• Assistant Governors
• District Governors, Governors-Elect and Governors-Nominee
• Guest Presidents-Elect from other Districts and other guests may attend

Attendance at PETS is MANDATORY for every club President-Elect per the Rotary International Standard Club Constitution, Article 9, Section 5 (c). In exceptional and unusual cases a District Governor-Elect may work with a President-Elect to make other arrangements.

Due to space limitations, Mid-South PETS cannot accommodate spouses of Presidents-Elect & Nominees.

You will receive all the information you need to access the General Sessions, breakout sessions, Friday social and Saturday follow-up optional breakout sessions with Zone representatives and RI staff by e-mail prior to the event.

The Assistant Governor Institute is a two-day leadership training program for Assistant Governors from the six participating Rotary districts. The role of assistant governor is to help the governor with the administration of designated clubs. By performing this critical function, Assistant Governors support club effectiveness, which in turn increases district effectiveness. The purpose of the Assistant Governor Institute is to develop and enhance skills for new and continuing Assistant Governors so that they can fulfill this role.
